IN THE MATTER of an application by Maritime Electric Company, Limited for approval of an Open Access Transmission Tariff Commission Docket UE20943 Notice of Hearing TAKE NOTICE that Maritime Electric Company, Limited ("Maritime Electric") has applied to the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission ("the Commission") for approval of an Open Access Transmission Tariff ("OATT"), pursuant to Section 20 of the Electric Power Act. BACKGROUND The OATT defines the terms, comditions and price for access to Maritime Electric's transmission system and is required to establish a fair and transparent process for transmission arrangements between Maritime Electric and transmission customers.
