IN THE MATTER of an application filed under Section 32 of the
Petroleum
Products Act, supra, by IRVING OIL LIMITED for a decrease of 0.1 cent
per litre in the prices of all grades of gasoline contained in its dealer tank truck
pricing schedule, due to market conditions.

Decision and Order
PURSUANT to the Commission's Decision and Order No. P.990225-4,
Ms. Claudette Maxwell, Pricing Representative for Irving Oil Limited, filed with the
Commission on 17 March 1999 an application under Section 32 of the Petroleum Products Act
requesting approval for a decrease of 0.1 cent per litre in the prices of all grades of
gasoline contained in its dealer tank truck pricing schedule, due to market conditions.
The reason given for this application was to allow this wholesaler to price more
competitively.
AND WHEREAS
the Commission, after consideration of the
application and a review of area prices, approved the application of Irving Oil Limited to
decrease the prices of gasoline to its dealers as requested, effective 12:01 a.m. on
Friday, 19 March 1999, in accordance with the Order which follows.
THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following wholesale tank truck prices are to be
charged dealers in Prince Edward Island supplied by Irving Oil Limited effective 12:01
a.m. on Friday, 19 March 1999:

2. THAT the above prices, with seven per
cent G.S.T. added, shall be indicated on all documents accompanying deliveries of these
products to said dealers.
3. THAT the prices quoted in this Order, with adjustments
resulting from tax changes only, shall remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the
Commission.
