Pursuant to section 28 of the
Planning Act,
Keith Tanton has appealed a November 17, 2008 decision of the City of
Summerside to adopt Zoning Bylaw Amendment SS-15-A-82.
According to documents filed by the City
of Summerside, the purpose of amendment SS-15-A-82 is 'to provide for the
development of the City's Wind Facility and improve Council's ability to
make changes in response to evolving needs in Wind Technology'.
The appeal will be heard commencing at
9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in the Commission's Hearing Room,
Suite 502, 5th Floor, National Bank Tower, 134 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
Interested persons may attend appeal
hearings and be heard.
