PETROLEUM PRICING
|
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, June 9, 2009
— The
Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following
petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009:
-
Furnace and stove oil prices will increase by 4.6
cpl;
-
Diesel prices will increase by 4.8 cpl;
-
There will be no change in gasoline or propane
prices at this time.
Higher input costs coupled with an increase in demand
have significantly impacted the wholesale market cost of furnace oil,
stove oil and diesel triggering this unscheduled pricing adjustment.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be
on June 15, 2009.
