PETROLEUM PRICING
 



Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, September 25, 2013 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013:

  • Gasoline prices will decrease by 4.0 cents per litre (cpl);  
  • Furnace and stove oil prices will decrease by 2.0 cpl ;
  • Diesel prices will decrease by 3.0 cpl; and
  • There will be no change in diesel or propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 128.4 cpl to 129.5 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to 105.0 cpl plus taxes.

Significant decreases in the wholesale price of all three petroleum products over the span of the past ten days have afforded the opportunity for this unscheduled price adjustment.

The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on October 1, 2013.
