PETROLEUM PRICING
 



Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, December 11, 2015 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015:

  • Gasoline prices will decrease by 3.3 cents per litre (cpl);
  • Furnace and stove oil prices will decrease by 4.0 cpl;
  • Diesel prices will decrease by 3.0 cpl; and
  • There will be no change in propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 95.9 cpl to 97.0 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to 75.7 cpl, plus tax.

There have been significant decreases in the wholesale price of all three petroleum products that now afford the opportunity for this unscheduled price adjustment.

The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on December 15, 2015.
