PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, February 11, 2016 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decision, effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016:

  • Gasoline prices will decrease by 5.5 cents per litre (cpl);
  • There will be no change in furnace oil, stove oil, diesel or propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 83.9 cpl to 85.0 cpl.

A substantial decrease in the wholesale price of gasoline observed over the past week now affords the unscheduled price adjustment announced today.

The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on February 15, 2016.
