PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, March 15, 2018
—
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved
the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m.,
Thursday, March 15, 2018:

Gasoline prices will decrease by 1.7 cents per litre
(cpl);

There will be no change in the price of furnace oil,
stove oil or diesel at this time; and

Propane prices will decrease by 8.4 cents per litre (cpl) for
Superior Propane, by 4.0 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and
Marketing and by 9.0 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular
unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 114.9 cpl to
116.0 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will now range from 80.5
cpl to 82.9 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil will continue at 89.3
cpl, plus tax.
Improved wholesale prices for gasoline and propane now
afford the price reductions announced today.
The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on April 1,
2018.
