Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 121.3 cpl to 122.5 cpl. Pump prices for diesel will range from 129.5 cpl to 130.6 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will now range from 76.9 cpl to 79.5 cpl. The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to 92.2 cpl, plus tax. Prince Edward Island is not alone in facing higher petroleum product prices. Indeed, Island gasoline pricing compares favourably with many areas of the country. As of March 27th, average pump prices in Montreal were 138.7 cpl, Ottawa 131.4 cpl, Calgary 122.4 cpl, with the national average at 132.0 cpl. The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on April 15, 2018.
