PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, June 1, 2018 — The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018:

• There will be no change in the price of gasoline, furnace oil or stove oil;

• Diesel prices will increase by 1.5 cents per litre (cpl); and

• Propane prices will increase by 0.9 cpl for Superior Propane, by 2.0 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc. and decrease by 0.4 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will continue to range from 132.3 cpl to 133.4 cpl. Pump prices for diesel will range from 137.7 cpl to 138.8 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will now range from 79.5 cpl to 83.0 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to be 97.7 cpl, plus tax.

The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on June 15, 2018.
