PETROLEUM PRICING



 

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, September 13, 2019 – The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2019:

    • Gasoline prices will increase by 1.0 cent per litre (cpl);
    • Furnace oil prices will increase by 1.0 cpl;
    • Diesel prices will increase by 1.0 cpl; and
    • Propane prices will decrease by 0.4 cpl for Superior Propane, will remain the same for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing, will increase by 0.5 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum and by 0.1 cpl for Island Petroleum.

Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 114.5 cpl to 115.7 cpl. Pump prices for self-serve diesel will now range from 126.3 cpl to 127.4 cpl. Including taxes, the maximum price for furnace oil will now be 96.3. Maximum before tax propane prices will range from 69.4 to 70.2 cpl.
