PETROLEUM PRICING



 

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, February 28, 2020 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday,  February 28, 2020:

    • The price of gasoline will decrease by 3.5 cents per litre (cpl);

    • The price of furnace oil will decrease by 5.0 cpl;

    • The price of diesel will decrease by 5.0 cpl; and

    • Propane prices will decrease by 0.1 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; increase by 1.0 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum; increase by 0.1 cpl for Superior Propane, and increase by 3.0 cpl for Island Petroleum.

At self-serve outlets, regular unleaded gasoline will now range from 111.4 to 112.6 cpl. Diesel will range from 114.9 to 116.0 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 87.2 cpl.

Maximum prices for propane will now range from 68.0 to 70.3 cpl
