PETROLEUM PRICING



 

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, March 13, 2020 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2020:

    • The price of gasoline will decrease by 7.0 cents per litre (cpl);

    • The price of furnace oil will decrease by 4.0 cpl;

    • The price of diesel will decrease by 4.0 cpl; and

    • Propane prices will increase by 0.8 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; decrease by 1.0 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum; increase by 0.6 cpl for Superior Propane; and increase by 1.2 cpl for Island Petroleum.

At self-serve outlets, regular unleaded gasoline will range from 94.8 to 95.9 cpl and diesel will range from 101.7 to 102.8 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 75.1 cpl.

Maximum prices for propane will range from 68.6 to 70.1 cpl.
