PETROLEUM PRICING



 

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, May 8, 2020 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2020:

    • The price of gasoline will increase by 6.2 cents per litre (cpl);

    • The price of furnace oil will increase by 4.0 cpl;

    • The price of diesel will increase by 5.5 cpl; and

    • Propane prices will increase by 2.0 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing, by 1.7 cpl for Superior Propane, and by 2.5 cpl for Island Petroleum. There is no change in the price for Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum.

At self-serve outlets, regular unleaded gasoline will range from 80.2 to 81.3 cpl and diesel will range from 84.2 to 85.3 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 55.7 cpl.

Maximum prices for propane will range from 73.1 to 73.7 cpl.
