PETROLEUM PRICING



 

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, June 19, 2020 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2020:

    • The price of gasoline will decrease by 1.6 cents per litre (cpl);
    • The price of furnace oil will increase by 2.3 cpl;
    • The price of diesel will increase by 2.0 cpl; and
    • Propane prices will increase by 0.4 cpl for Superior Propane; decrease by 0.1 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; decrease by 0.4 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum; and there is no change in price for Island Petroleum.

At self-serve outlets, regular unleaded gasoline will range from 95.7 to 96.8 cpl and diesel will range from 99.0 to 100.2 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 68.0 cpl.

Maximum prices for propane will range from 76.7 cpl to 78.0 cpl.
