PETROLEUM PRICING



Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, October 23, 2020
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Appeals Commission Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020:

  • The price of gasoline will decrease by 3.0 cents per litre (cpl);

  • There is no change to the price of furnace oil or diesel; and

  • Propane prices will increase by 0.9 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; by 1.1 cpl for Superior Propane; by 0.6 cpl for Island Petroleum; and by 1.4 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum.

At self-serve outlets, prices for regular unleaded gasoline will range from 97.3 to 98.4 cpl and prices for diesel will range from 101.1 to 102.2 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 71.7 cpl.

The maximum price for propane will range from 71.6 to 73.0 cpl;
