PETROLEUM PRICING

harlottetown, Prince Edward Island, November 27, 2020 – The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2020:

  • The price of gasoline will increase by 2.5 cents per litre (cpl); and

  • The price of furnace oil and diesel will each increase by 3.0 (cpl).

At self-serve outlets, prices for regular unleaded gasoline will range from 99.4 to 100.5 cpl and prices for diesel will range from 108.1 to 109.3 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 77.1 cpl.

The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is December 4, 2020.

The Commission wishes to advise the petroleum industry and the public of changes to the petroleum pricing schedule during the holidays. Pricing adjustments, normally made every Friday, will occur on Thursday, December 24, 2020 and Thursday, December 31, 2020. The regular schedule of Friday pricing adjustments will resume January 8, 2021.
