UW022308 MONTAGUE SEWAGE AND WATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT CORPORATION APPLICATION TO INCREASE WATER & WASTEWATER RATES & CHARGES TAKE NOTICE that the Montague Sewage and Water Collection and Treatment Corporation has filed an application requesting increases to its annual water and sewer rates to be phased in over a 3-year period, effective July 1, 2009. THE APPLICATION proposes the following rates for unmetered customers, per unit, per year:
The Utility is proposing the same percentage of increases in metered rates over the next three years; however, the impact varies depending on the type and size of the metered service and the amount of a customer’s annual consumption. For example, based on the proposal, a 5/8" metered water and sewer customer consuming 250 cubic metres per year would see their overall annual rate increase from $321.45 to approximately $567.00 in three years.
