TIGNISH SEWAGE COLLECTION AND WATER
DISTRIBUTION CORPORATION

TAKE NOTICE that the Tignish Sewage Collection and Water Distribution Corporation (the Utility) has filed an application with the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (the Commission) seeking approval to increase its annual sewer rates and charges from $148.00 to $180.00 per unit, and its annual water rates from $160.00 to $320.00, effective July 1, 2010.

IF YOU WISH TO COMMENT on this application, please write to the Commission at the address provided. In order to be considered, comments must be received no later than Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Written submissions must also be copied to the Utility. Comments received will become part of the public record for this file.

THE NECESSITY OF A PUBLIC HEARING will be determined by the Commission following receipt of the written comments in this matter. If a public hearing is held, a further Notice will be published advising the date and time the hearing will take place. 

ANY COMMISSION ORDERS issued in this matter will be made available on the Commission's website at www.irac.pe.ca.
