Notice of Application TAKE NOTICE that Maritime Electric Company, Limited ("Maritime Electric" or the "Company") has filed an application with the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (the “Commission”) for approval of changes to the General Rules and Regulations. BACKGROUND Maritime Electric is required, under Section 13 (1) of the Electric Power Act, to submit the Electric General Rules and Regulations, and any changes thereto, to the Commission for approval. DETAILS Pursuant to Commission Order UE05-06, the Company has filed a revised set of General Rules and Regulations proposing several changes. The Company submits that the changes are necessary as certain circumstances are not adequately provided for in the existing General Rules and Regulations. Questions posed to Maritime Electric must be answered by the Company, in writing, on or before Friday, December 19, 2008.
