Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, February 28, 2001 — The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that applications for crude oil cost related changes have been reviewed by the Commission. With only minor fluctuations having occurred in the average price of crude oil from December 2000 to January 2001, no change in the price of all products in the dealer and posted consumer schedules will occur. Irving Oil Limited received approval for a net increase of 14.0 cents per litre in all propane prices contained in its pricing schedule based on product acquisition costs and Superior Propane Inc. received approval for a net increase of 1.8 cpl in all products in its pricing schedule.
