Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, March 31, 2002 — The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that wholesalers have been authorized to increase the prices of gasoline by 4.6 cents per litre and to increase the prices of diesel, furnace and stove oil by 3.2 cents per litre, in their dealer and consumer schedules. Irving Oil Limited received approval to decrease, by 0.6 cent per litre, and Superior Propane Inc. received approval to decrease, by 0.8 cent per litre, all propane prices contained in their respective propane pricing schedules based on decreased product acquisition costs.
