PETROLEUM PRICING ADJUSTMENTS 


Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, December 14, 2004 — Declining world oil prices will result in a mid-month price adjustment for gasoline and diesel fuel.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that wholesalers have been authorized to decrease the prices in their dealer and consumer schedules by 4.0 cents per litre (cpl) on gasoline, 2.0 cpl on diesel fuel, and 3.0 cpl on furnace and stove oil.

Effective December 15, 2004 the average maximum pump price of regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will be 83.1 cpl.

All pricing adjustments become effective at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2004.
