
TAKE NOTICE that
the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission will commence a public hearing into an
application by MELODY ENTERPRISES INC. (ATT'N.: MR. D. W. MacISAAC), P. O. Box 189,
CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI C1A 7K4 on MONDAY, the 29th day of MARCH, A.D., 1999 at 11:00 a.m. in
its Hearing Room, 5th Floor, National Bank Tower, 134 Kent Street, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
THIS APPLICANT
is seeking to change the class of licensing under the Petroleum Products Act with respect
to the HIGHFIELD SERVICE STATION (Petro-Canada) from "service
station" to "general merchant". This outlet would then be rebuilt to offer
split-serve motor fuels dispensing in conjunction with a convenience store (with
additional retail/residential space and a Tim Horton's drive-thru). This rebuild would not
include automotive service bays.
