Marion Bernard v. Minister of Community & Cultural Affairs

Pursuant to section 28 of the Planning Act, Marion Bernard has appealed the November 10, 2005 decision of the Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs where it was determined, following a site suitability assessment, that parcel number 497495 located at West Point is not suitable for development.

At a January 18, 2006 hearing before the Commission, the parties to this appeal agreed that the appeal should be held in abeyance in order to provide the parties with an opportunity to reach a resolution of the matter. However, no resolution was reached, and the Appellant now requests that her appeal be heard by the Commission.

The appeal will be heard commencing at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in the Commission's Hearing Room, Suite 502, 5th Floor, National Bank Tower, 134 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
