Decision and Order

Further to the Commission's Order No. P.000529-4A, Claudette Maxwell filed on behalf of Irving Oil Limited an application dated 13 June 2000 requesting approval to increase the product prices contained in Irving's presently approved propane schedule by 1.0 cent per litre, effective 1 July 2000.

This application was accompanied by Schedule “D” entitled “Sarnia Posting” covering average propane acquisition costs for the periods from 5 May to 26 May 2000.  Also attached was Schedule “E” entitled “Proposed Propane Prices”.

The Commission considered Irving’s application dated 13 June 2000 for increases to its currently-approved product prices and reviewed the supporting documentation at its meeting this date.  Following this consideration, approval was granted for increases of 1.0 cent per litre to all product prices, effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, 1 July 2000, in accordance with the attached Order.

Order

THE COMMISSION HEREBY ORDERS THAT the propane prices charged by Irving Oil Limited, effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday, 1 July 2000, be in accordance with those contained in Appendix "A" to this Order, and that these prices appear on all invoices covering sales or deliveries of propane, and remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the Commission.

AND IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT Irving Oil Limited provide the Commission with information based on average OBG Sarnia Propane Prices relating to the one month-period (June 2000) on or before 15 July 2000, with any application submitted by that date being based on the May average.

AND IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT Irving Oil Limited continue to provide the previous months' average acquisition costs by the fifteenth of the following month each and every month thereafter, whether or not an application for the price adjustments is being made.
