Further to the Commission's Decision and Order No. P.000529-2A, Michael (Mike) Doyle, Branch Manager of Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior") filed with the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (the "Commission") on 16 June 2000 an application requesting permission to increase the price of propane in Superior’s pricing categories by 0.8 cent per litre.  Amended Schedules A & B were filed by Mr. Doyle on 26 June 2000.  This application was supported by a Declaration of Mr. Doyle, Branch Manager - Charlottetown.

This Declaration was supported by a Schedule entitled "Sarnia-Amoco Wholesale Propane Posted Price", in relation to the average posted propane prices for the period 4 March to 26 April 2000 and 6 May to 26 May 2000.

The Commission considered this application and supporting documentation this date, and approved the requested increases, effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday, 1 July 2000.

Order

THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS that the propane prices to be charged by Superior Propane Inc., effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday, the 1st day of July 2000, be in accordance with Appendix "A" to this Order, and that the authorized prices appear on all invoices accompanying propane deliveries and remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the Commission.

AND THE COMMISSION FURTHER ORDERS that copies of the invoice covering the next delivery of propane to Superior following the effective date of the prices approved by this Order be submitted to the Commission on or before 15 July 2000.

AND THE COMMISSION FURTHER ORDERS that the next application for a price adjustment be based on the “Sarnia-Amoco Wholesale Propane Posted Price” of propane in cents per litre for the period 6 May to 26 May 2000 in comparison to the average of the weekly postings of the Sarnia propane price for the month of June 2000, and be filed with the Commission by 15 July 2000.
