IN THE MATTER of an application filed under Section 32 of the Petroleum Products Act, supra, by Superior Propane Inc. for increases in its propane pricing schedule.

Decision and Order

WHEREAS further to the Commission's Order No. P.920121, Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior"). filed with the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (the "Commission") an application dated 8 October 1992 requesting permission to increase the price of propane to its customers in the amount of 3.1 cent per litre;

AND WHEREAS a declaration made in the supporting Affidavit of S. K. (Steve) Ferguson, Area Manager of Superior, dated 8 October 1992 indicated that propane acquisition costs had increased a total of 3.1 cents per litre since the last approved price adjustment;

AND WHEREAS the above-noted Affidavit was supported by Schedule "A" entitled "Wholesale Propane Price Changes (Sarnia)", which Schedule indicated the pricing fluctuations since Superior's last pricing application, with the latest being a 0.9 cent per litre increase effective 13 September 1992;

AND WHEREAS the Applicant submitted with its application Schedule "B", which indicated current approved prices as well as proposed prices, and took into consideration some alterations resulting from an in camera hearing held in February, 1992;

AND WHEREAS the Commission considered this Application and supporting documentation this date;

THE COMMISSION HEREBY ORDERS that the propane prices to be charged by Superior Propane Inc., effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday, 22 October 1992, be increased by 3.1 cents per litre, in accordance with Appendix "A" to this Order, until otherwise ordered by the Commission.
