IN THE MATTER of an application filed under Section 32 of the
Petroleum
Products Act, supra, by ULTRAMAR CANADA INC. for a decrease of 2.2 cents
per litre in the prices of all grades of gasoline contained in its dealer tank truck
pricing schedule, due to market conditions.

Decision and Order
WHEREAS on 23 December 1992, Mr. James Darnbrough, Motorist
Representative for Ultramar-Canada Inc., filed with the Commission an application under
Section 32 of the Petroleum Products Act requesting approval for a decrease of 2.2 cents
per litre in the prices of all grades of gasoline contained in its dealer tank truck
pricing schedules. The reasons given for the filing of this application were to provide
Ultramar-Canada Inc. with the opportunity to conduct business at the retail level on a
competitive basis throughout Prince Edward Island.
AND WHEREAS the Commission reviewed this application and
information relating to local and regional pricing at its meeting of 23 December 1992;
AND WHEREAS the Commission, after consideration, approved the
application to decrease the prices of all grades of gasoline contained in Ultramar's
dealer tank truck pricing schedule; effective 12:01 a.m. on 24 December 1992, in
accordance with the Order which follows:
THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following wholesale tank truck prices of gasoline are
to be charged dealers in Prince Edward Island supplied by Ultramar Canada Inc. effective
12:01 a.m. on Thursday, 24 December 1992:

2. THAT the above prices, with seven per cent G.S.T.
added, shall be indicated on all documents accompanying deliveries of these products to
said dealers.
3. THAT the prices quoted in this Order, with adjustments resulting
from tax changes only, shall remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the Commission.
