Products Act, supra, by Superior Propane Inc. for increases in its propane pricing
schedule.

Decision and Order
WHEREAS further to the Commission's Decision and Order No.
P.921020, Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior"). filed with the Island Regulatory
and Appeals Commission (the "Commission") an application dated 5 January 1993
requesting permission to increase the price of propane to its customers in the amount of
0.5 cent per litre;
AND WHEREAS the above-noted application was withdrawn on 8
January 1993 and replaced with an application dated 8 January 1993 requesting permission
to increase the price of propane to its customers in the amount of 1.6 cents per litre;
AND WHEREAS a declaration made in the supporting Affidavit of
Ralph Wilson, Branch Manager of Superior, dated 8 January 1993 indicated that propane
acquisition costs had increased a total of 1.6 cents per litre since the last approved
price adjustment;
AND WHEREAS the above-noted Affidavit was supported by Schedule
"A" entitled "Sarnia - Amoco Wholesale Propane Posted Price" dated 6
January 1993, which Schedule indicated the pricing fluctuations since Superior's last
pricing application, which application was approved by the Commission and authorized a 3.1
cents per litre increase effective 22 October 1992;
AND WHEREAS
the Applicant submitted with its application Schedule
"B", which indicated currently authorized prices as well as proposed prices;
AND WHEREAS the Commission considered this Application and supporting
documentation this date;
THE COMMISSION HEREBY ORDERS
that the propane prices to be charged
by Superior Propane Inc., effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday, 14 January 1993, be increased by
1.6 cents per litre, in accordance with Appendix "A" to this Order, until
otherwise ordered by the Commission.
