Decision and Order
WHEREAS further to the Commission's Decision and Order No.
P.930526, Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior"). filed on 20 September 1993 with
the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (the "Commission") an application
requesting permission to increase the price of propane to its customers in the amount of
0.85 cent per litre;
AND WHEREAS a declaration made in the supporting Affidavit of
Ralph Wilson, Branch Manager of Superior, dated 20 September 1993 indicated that propane
acquisition costs had increased by 0.85 cent per litre since Superior's current prices
were approved;
AND WHEREAS the above-noted Affidavit was supported by Schedule
"A" entitled "Sarnia-Amoco Wholesale Propane Posted", which Schedule
indicated that propane acquisition costs had increased by 0.85 cent per litre effective 9
September 1993;
AND WHEREAS
the Applicant submitted with its application Schedule
"B", which indicated currently authorized prices as well as proposed prices;
AND WHEREAS the Commission considered this Application and supporting
documentation this date;
THE COMMISSION HEREBY ORDERS
that the propane prices to be charged
by Superior Propane Inc., effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, 24 September 1993, be increased by
0.85 cent per litre, in accordance with Appendix "A" to this Order, and these
prices shall remain in effect until otherwise ordered by the Commission.
AND THE COMMISSION FURTHER ORDERS that a copy of the invoice for
the next delivery of propane to Superior following the effective date of the increase in
propane acquisition costs, being 9 September 1993, be submitted to the Commission on or
before 10 October 1993.
