Order UW92-7IN THE MATTER of an application of the Charlottetown Water Commission for interim approval of a Tariff for temporary water services provided to the Town of Parkdale.

Order
WHEREAS the Commission, by Order W92-2 herein dated March 10, 1992, approved, on an interim basis, rates and charges for temporary water services provided by the Charlottetown Water Commission to the Town of Parkdale Water Utility;
AND WHEREAS the Commission, by Order W92-6 issued in Docket W01302 on May 22, 1992, approved a revised Tariff for the Charlottetown Water Commission effective for bills of the Charlottetown Water Commission issued on and after April 15, 1992;
AND WHEREAS the said revised Tariff of the Charlottetown Water Commission contains rates and charges for for bulk water services provided to other utilities for resale;
AND WHEREAS it appears to the Commission that the rates and charges approved on an interim basis under Order W92-2 should be modified to reflect the revised Tariff of the Charlottetown Water Commission approved under Order W92-6;
NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission Act and the Water and Sewerage Act;
IT IS ORDERED THAT
1. the following rates and charges for temporary water services provided to the Town of Parkdale Water Utility are approved, on an interim basis, effective for bills of the Charlottetown Water Commission issued on and after April 15, 1992:
Temporary Water Services to Parkdale
Metered Water Service:
4-inch (100mm) metered base charge (per month) $129.13
Commodity Charge 14.1 cents per m3
Fire Protection Service:
For each fire hydrant or sprinkler system:
78.9% of the equivalent outside-Charlottetown charge for water supply for fire protection.
2. Order W92-2 is revoked;
