IN THE MATTER of the application of Maritime Electric Company, Limited for approval of a Demand Side Management Program.

Order

UPON the application of Maritime Electric Company, Limited (the "Company") for approval of a Milk Heat Reclaimer Rebate Program as a component of the Demand Side Management Program for farm operations;

AND UPON it appearing to the Commission that the proposal is within the best interests of the company and its customers;

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED THAT

1. The Milk Heat Reclaimer Rebate Program of the Company is approved in the amount of $85,000 for 1992;

2. The Company shall prepare a report summarizing the activities carried out under the program in 1992 and the savings that are expected to result, for submission to the Commission during the Company's 1993 Capital Programs application; and

3. Approval for the amount of $80,000 proposed for 1993 is withheld, pending further review.
