IN THE MATTER of an application by Maritime Electric Company, Limited for a variance to Commission Order UE92-2.

Order

WHEREAS Maritime Electric Company, Limited (the "Company") has applied to the Commission for approval to defer the filing of the report on the Company's Share Purchase Plans as required under Commission Order UE92-2 herein dated May 21, 1992;

AND WHEREAS it appears to the Commission that an extension to the filing deadline is warranted;

NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission Act and the Electric Power and Telephone Act;

IT IS ORDERED THAT

1. Paragraph 5 of Commission Order No. UE92-2 is revoked and the following substituted therefor:

5. Ten copies of the report under paragraph 3 shall be filed with the Commission by January 15, 1993.
