| Class | Description |

| Consumer Outlet: | Any building or place that is used for the sale of petroleum products from approved dispensing units directly into motor vehicles, self-propelled watercraft or portable containers, and any part of a building or place that is so used. |
| Retail-Distributor, Bulk Storage: | Any building or place that is used for the distribution of bulk petroleum products from bulk storage locations directly to consumers and consumer outlets. |
| Retail-Distributor, No Bulk Storage: | Any building or place that is used for the distribution of bulk petroleum products directly to consumers and consumer outlets. |
| Tank Truck: | Any vehicle used for the transportation and dispensing of petroleum products to the consumer. |
Designated Methods of Dispensing – Outlets
| Method | Description |

| Full-Serve: | The dispensing of petroleum products from dispensing units operated by trained pump island attendants, and not by a consumer. |
| Self-Serve: | The dispensing of petroleum products from dispensing units operated by a consumer and supervised by a trained console operator. |
| Split-Serve: | The dispensing of petroleum products from dispensing units operated by trained pump island attendants, and not by a consumer; and the dispensing of petroleum products from dispensing units operated by a consumer and supervised by a trained console operator. |
| Cardlock: | An unattended consumer outlet equipped with a card-operated dispensing unit. |
| Keylock: | An unattended consumer outlet equipped with a key-operated dispensing unit. |
