NOTICE: IRAC has issued Order UE26-07, which approves the rate changes outlined in the compliance report. Rate changes will come into effect on August 1, 2026.

As directed by the Commission in Order UE26-04, Maritime Electric has filed a compliance report to collect approved costs related to Hurricane Fiona from customers. The report includes customer rate impacts, with new rates proposed to take effect on August 1, 2026.

How does this impact customers?

Residential customers will see an annual increase of 3.1%* on August 1, 2026.   The chart below outlines the approved rate increases. *This is calculated for an average residential benchmark customer who consumes 1,000 kWh of electricity per month.
